Besides opening up his own brokerage, Stanley also bought \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBowmore\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, Islay’s oldest distillery. Then, under W. Brian Morrison, \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMorrison Bowmore\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e became a global brand and it was eventually purchased by Suntory.
